Wow, been so long. I am not unloyal here, I like this blogging stuff, especially goodstuff! But I have been away due to family circumstances I needed to help with that took so much of my time. Isn't that the case for so many right now, especially probably overworked people that just need a real break just to be with family, or even to have room to breathe?
Let me recommend one fun free activity on a budget.
Fun doesn't cost money #1 6-2011
This can be done alone, with 2, or with the family: Cost $0-$20, Time 2-4 hours
Grab your digital camera and come up with a theme to photograph. You can do this even while driving around and take photos of different areas or your passenger can snap photos based on your theme (as long as gas prices are low enough). Your theme could be about anything, colors, beaches, trees, flowers, even road signs that catch your attention. Go home review your photos, edit/crop. Print or have them printed at a fairly low price at Wal-Mart or Costco etc (1 hour photo is best, they even may have editing on the machine you can do right there).
Once you have your photos printed, spend some quality time at home, making a collage or fun scrapbook of your otherwise ordinary day that was now an adventure through photography! This can be great with kids too. You could even go to the park and do this one... eww even "bugs" theme for boys or tough girls. Be creative!
